As you can see, I had added a paid blog post category in the blog. By doing so, i would like try more alternatives ways to make money off the blog.

So what is the deal? You, the advertiser send me the article that you want to publish in the blog after making the payment. Your articles may only contains 5 links and one image. And, only 2 paid posts are allowed in this blog per day, others will be queued. Anyone who is interested in getting a paid blog post can contact me using the contact form in the blog.

I aim to earn a stable amount of $10 per month for a kick off. Currently for the month of march, the blog earns $3 up to now. From one sponsor ad, and one paid post. $7 more dollars to hit the target!

Getting Backlinks : Strategy one

Getting backlink is important for a website as google calculates the PR of a particular website based on the number of baclinks it has. We can build backlinks in different ways, such as submitting your website to directories, link exhange with other websites etc etc. My first strategy for building backlinks for this blog will be creating free wordpress themes. After doing a simple analysis of the different method that i could use to gain backlinks, i came to a conclusion that creating free wordpress themes will be the fastest and most effective way for gaining backlinks for this blog.

Reason is simple. Assuming i spent around 5 hours creating one wordpress theme, i post this theme for downloads to the public. Assuming 500 people downloaded my wordpress themes, i managed to get 500 backlinks. Compare to spenting 5 hours submiting your blog to 500 directories, this method seems more effective and effortless.

For some of you who had been thinking? ” How the hell creating wordpress can increase the backlinks?” Let me explain this. Normally, when those wordpress designers design their wordpress theme, they created a “Credits” section where they put their links. Have you seen the light?

My target will be to create 4 wordpress themes for distribution. Ands that all for strategy one. I will post an update when i complete those themes.

For those of you who had not subsribe to my rss feeds, do so now! RSS stands for ” really simple syndication”. It is an XML-based system for aggregating and rapidly scanning information from blogs, news and current event Web sites, and other Web sites that update content frequently.

By subscribing, you will be informed of the recent activities going around in this blog and keep you updated on the recent blog posts. In the next few months, i will be working towards building up more value to the blog, and hopefully by then, i will get more traffic and income from this blog. Currently, this blog is generating ZERO profits. To kick off, i will be aiming an blog income of 10 dollars first per month, after that, i will be increasing the blog income target and so on.

Theres a few things that i need to do in order to get my first advertisers, that will be

1) Building up the google pr of this blog. As you know, some advertisers buy links or ads from higher pr sites. That is to increase their website pr as well.

2) Improve the alexa ranking. Well, this is not a factor when advertisers buy ads, but having a lower alexa ranking makes the site “look” more valuable. Currently, the blog has a traffic rank of:  931, 412

3) Increase the number of readers for the blog

So, to meet all the three objectives, what i decided to do now is to build up number of backlinks to this blog. In the next few blog posts, i will be posting on what i had done to increase the number of backlinks to this blog
