I have Graduated..

On 21 May 2008, I am officially graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic Singapore. Time really flies. Three years back when i was first enrolled into my course, i was 16 years old then, now i am 19 years old. And looking back, there are alot of memories that will stay with me for my lifetime and of course regrets…

During these three years, i have learnt quite a number of things, not just technical knowledge but of course, other attributes like life experiences. i am glad that i have met quite a number of friends, lecturers and classmates in the poly days… All I can say is that these 3 years played quite an important part in my life. My mentality and thinking matured/changed alot compared to in secondary school. I am now more matured compared to secondary school. (haha..playing arm wrestling everyday..etc) It was just 2 years back that i realized the importance studying and purpose of enriching oneself. Learning things that you are able to put into practice in the outside industry and not to mention, learning things that you like.

Now, i am waiting to be enlisted in National Service on 22 september 2008. As for what i intend to do during these few months, frankly speaking, i really have no idea. Maybe i will find a part time job soon. As for my plans after national service, i will be enrolling into school of computing in NUS. I don’t really know whether its a wise decision that i have made because i don’t really want to go university if not of my parents. I rather spend 4 years of my time to concentrate on things that i am passionate on, then spending 4 years of my time studying a wide variety of things. I believed that will in fact helps me more in future.

Well, no one know what is going to happen in future. Life is unpredictable. As for now, i think i need to start working towards my dreams.

To all my friends, classmates, associates that walk into my life, i am honored to be able to meet you guys in these 3 important years of my life and i wish everyone all the best in their future career endeavors, in their personal lifes etc.. blah blah blah. Lets remain in contact and please don’t walk out of each other’s life. :D

Live Videos When (Sichuan) China Earthquake Happens…

This blogpost is dedicated to all the survivors and victims of the the recent earthquake that happened in sichuan on 12 May 2008 at14:28:01.42 CST, which is named Wenchuan earthquake. It is estimated that the death toll of this tragedy would reached up to around 50000+. While we are living comfortably here, people are suffering there. Thousands of people lost their families, thousands of people are still battling with their life, waiting to be saved. Thousands of people lost part of their bodies.

Below are live videos when the earthquake happened.

  1. Live Video 1

  3. Live Video 3
  4. Live Video 4
  5. Live Video 5

There are even people who had to cut off parts of their bodies themselves in order for the rescuers to be able to save them. That requires alot of courage and determination to do so…

FOUR days after the earthquake, some harrowing tales of survival are being told.

Gong Tianxiu, a 40-year-old woman, cut off her own right leg to escape the rubble, the Beijing Times reported yesterday.

Rescuers found Gong in the debris of an Agricultural Bank of China branch in Beichuan County after she had been trapped for 73 hours. They soon found it was impossible to remove the stone from her leg and set her free.

The only way to save Gong was to amputate the leg, the newspaper reported. But surgeons could not do the operation as the space was too small. Rescuers then handed a saw to Gong, who cut off her right leg herself.

I would like to send my deepest condolences and sympathy to the victims and their families. Life has to move on…

I am learning how to manage my time well…

I am not here to blog about how to manage time well, but why we need to manage time well as i myself don’t really able to manage my time well. Whether it’s in dramas, movies, real life or business world, people are always saying, Time == Money. And till recently, I finally realized the importance of time management. In the working world, people are always rushing. Rushing for projects, rushing for deadlines, rushing rushing rushing… 24 hours per day doesn’t seems enough. But however, why do some people have so much responsiblities and things to do and 24 hours are more than enough for them to play, sleep and work?

Well, i had been slacking. I did not find any jobs unlike some of my friends. And this period of time makes me realised the importance of time. Just because i am doing almost nothing everyday, its make me feels guity and useless. Am i just wasting my time and life away? I am 19 year old now and how many more years will i have? I think i will be wasting my remaining years if i do not start to manage my time well.

Here’s a couple of reason on why i think managing time well is important. Here’s what i found out from researching.

1) Time management allows you to optimize your efforts and concentrate as much time as possible on certain task. Effective time management will ensure you the achieve the greatest benefit possible with the limited amount of time available to you

2) Make yourself less stress. For e.g you had couple of projects on hand. If you allocate your time effectively to each project, it makes completing the project easier and faster.

3) Time == Money, so if you do not learn to manage your time well, you will not be able to manage your money well.

I think i am going bankrupt..

It’s been 6 days since i last blogged.. Kinda busy this few days.. My PC get VIRUS AND SPYWARE again and i had to reformat it and install all neccessary software again. I think i had to get a updated anti-virus software asap.

I am on the verge of emptying all my money in my bank, and wooh!, what am i going to do? Most of the money spent are spent on online stuffs, food, leisure .. etc. I think i had to save some money for future use. Don’t know why, i feel that i am getting tired and more tired one day by one day. I wasted just one whole day today sleeping from 11am to 5pm. What the hell is happening to me? I am getting lazier and lazier.

I still had not received my letter from national service and my enlistment status is unconfirmed. What the Fuck? Becoming an adult really sucks, have to think of ways to pay bills and what really sucks is to have no job and no income. How i wished to stay as a kid forever so i don’t need to worry about the money matters. But that’s not going to happen…
