Friday make up post.

Couldn’t find time to blog yesterday. Yesterday was a stressful day for me. Had been meddling with coding from noon to midnight. Though stressful, it’s quite useful day, i learned some new stuffs. And of course, thanks for those members that gave advices to me, couldn’t do that without them. Was chatting with anthony and we are discussing about how “stupid people ruled the army”.. lol

Today is a saturday (entertainment day) and will be meeting those guys that just booked out. Will be watching red cliff with kelvin today. Ok, time’s up, i think i have to go before i will get late.

Making progress…

Today marks the first day of my new life. I hadn’t been slacking today. I spent more than 9 hours today doing my work. I hope i can last. No, i must last. If not, my life won’t changed. I had already wasted the last  month, doing nothing but slacking and i really regretted it. I could have done something more useful instead of just slacking and wasting my youth.

Bills are heavy for my current financial status, a guy with no income, with incurring cost of $70+ every month. And guess what, i  just wasted $70 last month from doing nothing. That’s the price to pay. Alot of people, including my sister, asked me, why don’t i just go find myself a part time time job, at least i have an income. Since i am due for enlistment in the coming next 2 months, i decided not to find myself a job, instead, i will use the time to enrich myself, in terms of knowledge. I had been learning seo previously and i thought i should continue it.

Looking at the current situations in the web hosting industry, i think i should really reconsidered my plan to start a web hosting firm in future. The market is really getting too saturated and it’s hard to fight those competitors. On top of that, my server management skills sucks to the core and i found out that i am actually more interested in programming and designing than networking. I think there will be many other possibilites out there too.

Now, i am focusing 100% on the community that i had set up. Traffic are declining, alot of things are declining due to me not doing a good job. There are alot of other factors as well. Stand up from where you fall if you want to advance, that’s what my teacher told me.

Instead of just doing work all the time online, i think i should set aset some time for entertainment. Maybe 4 hours for dramaing.

Today is a good start for me. I will work hard. This post will be logged to remind me not give up halfway.

I want to change

I am dread of my life now. I want a change. I want to change myself. Here’s one scenario.

You are in a party or seminar where there’s lots of people. Are you the kind of person that are proactive? That kind that stand up, shake your hand with others and say “Hi, nice to meet you, my name is xxx or are you the kind that waits for people to introduce themselves to you.

If you know me well, i belong to the latter kind. And that’s the reason why my social circle is small. So the first thing that i need to change is to be more proactive.

OK. Here’s another weakness of me, pointed out from a true friend. I don’t really realised it till now. “I tend to “cut” in conversations. May be while Girl A and Girl B is talking and i suddenly cut into it”. That’s very unrespectful of me. Remember, true friends are friends that don’t hesitate to point out your mistakes because they want you to improve. I am glad i met a few true friends in my life till now.

Because i am of a quiet personality, people might thought that i am unfriendly or not interested in bonding with them or even self fish, but in fact i am not. Actually i faced this problem alot. I could still remember around few years back, when some guys (forget who are those) wanted to ask some questions regarding school work. And lol, i could heard they clearly whispering to each other. “nono, you ask.. don’t 1 la.. i scared u ask..” Seems that i am not really good with human relations afterall. And, i finally found the reason to this kind of problem. Because i look unfriendly.

Procrastination. I can’t believe i am facing this particular problem now. I am those kind that “Today stuffs must be completed today”. But that was months back. Maybe it’s due to too much slacking and reason of no schooling that i tend to procrastinate my work now.

While i am writing this post, something stuck me in my head, the conversation i have with kelvin a few weeks ago. Well, it’s also about changing oneself. Kelvin told me that he wanted to change his life, he wanted to change the way people look at him. And i am very inspired and motivated by the conversation i had with him, because we have the same desire and aim. In other words, we are on the same boat.

Human are by no means perfect and everyone bound to have some faults in them. Don’t ask me why, ask god or buddha why they created us in this way. I made alot of mistakes in my past which i regretted and couldn’t forget, i am sure all of us do make mistakes. I hope it’s still not late for me to change. I don’t wana spent the rest of my life staying the kind of person i am now. I dread of it.

Most web 2.0 websites uses ajax technology and it’s seems to be so common that most websites used it. I’am quite new to ajax and was learning from w3schools. I come across several several libraries and thought i should share in my blog. All these libraries make creating ajax applications very easy.
